Hey there! Welcome to Phoenix Media Pass, your new favorite music publication in Arizona! We wanted to introduce ourselves.

Phoenix Media Pass was created to highlight the greatness that is the Phoenix music scene. Whether it’s a big artist stopping here on tour to perform at The Van Buren, The Marquee Theater, Arizona Financial Theater, Footprint Center, Desert Diamond Arena, Talking Stick Amphitheater, or State Farm Stadium – or local artists rocking venues like Rebel Lounge, Valley Bar, Crescent Ballroom, Walter Studios, or The Nile Theater. Of course, there’s a bunch we missed. And that’s exactly what we mean!

There are so many amazing venues in this city, we can’t even list them all. And don’t get us started on the local bands. Many great artists have come from Phoenix (we’re looking at you Jimmy Eat World, and The Maine, and Breakup Shoes, and- you get the point). Wouldn’t you love to say you were fans of them before they got big?

We’re here to highlight the endless local talent in our wonderful city. But we’d never forget about the big artists who take the time to come visit us – and we know you want to see them too. That’s what we’re here for!

Getting a media pass is hard, trust us. Photography is hard, trust us. PMP was created to be your own personal ‘press pass’ for all your favorite artists – local and national. With us, you’re on the guest list.

With all this talk about us, you might want to know who we are.

Meet the team

Madison Haynie

Photographer, writer, creative director, and co-founder.

Madison has been taking pictures of live events since 2018, when she started became head of yearbook at her high school. While she loves music deeply, she’s never been good at actually playing anything. So instead, she gets to enjoy it through a camera lens. The best part of concert photography is getting to share the photos with everyone who couldn’t make it to the show. It makes concerts more accessible.

Her favorite genres of music to listen to are alternative and R&B, though her favorite to photograph is rock.

Her favorite venues in Phoenix are Rebel Lounge, the Van Buren, and Mesa Amphitheater.

Kaylee Crawford

Photographer, writer, graphic designer, and co-founder.

Kaylee was born and raised in Arizona and is happy to call Phoenix home. She has been doing photography since 2019. She started simply to find a new hobby and quickly fell in love with it. Alongside photography, Kaylee found a passion in many digital mediums, including graphic design. She attended Arizona State University and received a bachelors of arts in Graphic Design.

While a theater kid at heart, she enjoys pop-punk, alternative, and Taylor Swift.

Her favorite venues are The Marquee Theater, Desert Diamond Arena, and Valley Bar.
